🌿 Enhancing Green Corridors at Ram Petroleum
On 9 June 2026, at the break of dawn, precisely at 6 am, four dedicated Green Saarthis of the Grow Native Green Forum convened at IOC’s Ram Petroleum in Mangrol, (Taluka) Dhamrod (village), located along National Highway 48. Their mission for the day was not just an ordinary task; we were there to contribute to the green cover of the area by planting a total of 400 green mehndi plants along the boundary of the site. These vibrant plants are known for their cultural significance and ecological benefits, adding both beauty and functionality to the landscape.
In addition to the mehndi plants, we also prepared to plant two batches of colorful flowering plants at the entrance, bringing the total count of saplings planted to around 450. This initiative was part of a larger effort to promote environmental sustainability and improve the local ecosystem. The members worked energetically, digging holes, carefully placing each sapling, and ensuring they were well-watered and cared for. As the sun rose higher in the sky, the sight of the young plants began to transform the area, symbolizing hope and a commitment to nurturing the environment. The day ended on a positive note, with a sense of accomplishment and purpose among the participants.
