Nurturing Nature: Our Commitment to Reforestation at Samved
On 22 March 2026, we proudly planted 851 saplings at Samved Biomedical Waste Management, located in GIDC, Kabilpore, Navsari, in an area of 470m2 . This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each one of us, every Green Saarthi who participated, showing that collective effort can lead to significant change. Each sapling represents our commitment to environmental sustainability and the positive impact we can create together. The success of this initiative was made possible through careful planning and coordination, ensuring that every step was executed efficiently and effectively.
Nine dedicated Green Saarthis gathered at Toran Vatika Nursery GNGF on Friday, 20 March 2026, where we meticulously selected and placed them in a mini-truck to be portered to their intended destination. Around fifteen enthusiastic Green Saarthis met at Samved on Saturday, 21 March 2026, evening to prepare for a plantation event. We worked diligently, digging holes and mixing manure to enrich the soil. This collaborative effort was aimed at ensuring that the following day’s planting activities would proceed smoothly and successfully.
On Sunday morning, approximately thirty-eight dedicated Green Saarthis gathered at Samved bright and early at 6 AM, ready to embark on their plantation mission. With purposeful strides, they set to work, finishing the remaining holes, enriching the soil with manure, and carefully segregating the saplings to ensure diversity in the planting. Each sapling was thoughtfully positioned at its designated hole, ensuring no two trees of the same species were adjacent. Over the next two hours, the team engaged in planting, thoroughly securing each sapling to sturdy support sticks. The sense of camaraderie and purpose made the experience truly fulfilling and rewarding for all involved.
We, the Green Sarthis, had previously visited this venue on 14 September 2025 to plant various flowering plants that added a burst of color to the area. It was hard not to appreciate the careful attention we had given earlier and the outstanding maintenance by the devoted staff. Their consistent dedication to caring for the plants has enabled them to thrive splendidly.
We were thrilled to receive such positive feedback from the owner, Veer Atodaria, who truly valued our hard work and dedication. His appreciation was not only encouraging but also led to an exciting opportunity for us to return and carry out the plantation activity in an additional area of land on the premises.

અઠવાડિયા પૂર્વેની તૈયારી અને શનિવાર બપોર થી રાત્રે 10 વાગ્યા સુધી કામ કરીને 12 વાગ્યે ઘરે પહોંચ્યા બાદ રવિવારે ફરી પાછા સુરતથી 50 કિમી નું અંતર કાપીને વહેલી સવારે હાજર થનાર આ કાર્યમાં સહભાગી થઈને પ્રકૃતિ માટે તન તોડ મહેનતકરનાર Green સારથીઓનો જેટલો પણ આભાર માનીએ એટલો ઓછો પડે…સફળતા પૂર્વક 1001 વૃક્ષનું જંગલ વાવવા માટે સહકાર આપવા બદલ ખૂબ ખૂબ અભિનંદન. સામવેદના માલિક શ્રી વીરઅટોદરીયા તેમજ મેનેજર*ભરતભાઈ પ્રજાપતિનો ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર અને ધન્યવાદ.
