Celebrating Women: Green Saarthi Plantation Drive

While respect is an everyday essential, recognition often requires a dedicated moment. This International Women’s Day provided the perfect opportunity. We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate the significant and invaluable efforts of our women green saarthis, recognizing their contributions to our collective mission.

We continued our plantation drive at the Singhania farms, adding another 151 fruit-bearing trees to the landscape. The day started with the careful segregation of these saplings from the existing flower-bearing variety.

We then carefully dug holes in the designated spots. A blend of cocopeat and essential fertilizers was added to each hole. This nutrient-rich mixture was crucial to provide the young plants with the sustenance and consistent growth environment they needed to thrive successfully.

In celebration of Women’s Day, women planted all the saplings today. Accompanied by the recitation of shlokas and mantras, we called upon the divine for blessings, ensuring the vibrant growth of the new life and granting us the continued strength to pursue our mission.

Our young Green Saarthi, Hasti Sisara, celebrated her birthday by taking a step towards a greener future. She planted a tree and donated to our Forum, setting a wonderful example for all the other children to follow in her footsteps.

The Women’s Day celebration served as a heartfelt tribute to the remarkable women in the lives of our green saarthis. The celebration honored their unwavering support and instrumental role in enabling the saarthis’ commitment to environmental stewardship. To acknowledge their efforts, a dedicated initiative was launched to collect information about these women, allowing us to create personalized greetings for each one. This special gesture was made possible by the dedicated efforts of Nikunj and Kinjal.

Furthermore, the Green Saarthi women themselves were presented with tokens of appreciation, including gifts generously provided by the Rotary Sea Face Club and unique mementos curated by Green Saarthi Rohini, who delivered this impressive feat on short notice.

All this would not have been possible without all the Green Saarthis, the Singhania family, Rotary Sea Face members, Rohini Jinjala, Nikunj Sardhara, and Nayna Sardhara. આજરોજ તા.8 મી માર્ચ 2026 ને રવિવારના રોજ સિંઘાનિયા ફાર્મ ખાતે ફાર્મના માલિક શ્રી રાજીવ સિંઘાનિયા અને શ્રીમતી વિનીતા સિંઘાનિયા અને એમના પુત્ર અને પુત્રવધુ તેમજ પૌત્ર તથા મિત્ર મંડળના સહયોગ થી આંતર રાષ્ટ્રીય મહિલા દિવસની ઉજવણીના ઉપક્રમે રોટરી સી ફેસ સુરત ના કવિતા શરાફ,સવિતા કેજરીવાલના સહયોગથી દર રવિવારે સ્થાનિક વૃક્ષોનું વાવેતર કરીને જાળવણી અભિયાન ચલાવતી જાણીતી સંસ્થા ગ્રો નેટિવ ગ્રીન ફોરમ દ્વારા અનોખી રીતે આંતર રાષ્ટ્રીય મહિલા દિનની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી.સંસ્થામાં Green સારથી તરીકે જોડાયેલ મહિલાઓ દ્વારા 151 જેટલા સ્થાનિક વૃક્ષોનું આરોપણ કરવામાં આવ્યું.

આ કાર્યક્રમમાં હાજર રહેલ દરેક મહિલાને સ્મૃતિ ભેટ આપીને તેઓનું સન્માન કરવામાં આવ્યું.આજના આ અદ્ભુત કાર્યક્રમમાં એક નાની Green સારથી હસ્તિએ વૃક્ષારોપણ કરીને પોતાના જન્મદિવસની ઉજવણી કરીને
બીજા બાળકોને ઉદાહરણ પૂરું પાડ્યું.અને સાથે સાથે સંસ્થાને આર્થિક સહયોગ પણ આપ્યો.આજના કાર્યક્રમને સફળ બનાવવા માટે હાજર રહેલ તમામ Green સારથીઓ, સિંઘાનિયા પરિવાર,રોટરી સી ફેસ ના સભ્યો જેમણે આજના કાર્યક્રમ માટે સ્મૃતિ ભેટ આપી.મહિલા Green સારથી રોહિણી જેમણે તાત્કાલિક ધોરણે કેન્ડલ તૈયાર કરીને સ્મૃતિભેટ અર્પણ કરી અને દૂર દૂર રહેતા છતાં કાયમ આપણી સાથે રહેનાર Green સારથી શ્રી નિકુંજભાઈ સરધારા અને શ્રીમતી નયના સરધારા,ફોટો ગ્રાફર શ્રી હેતલ દેસાઈ પરિવાર અને પૃથ્વી તેમજ વરાછા ચેપ્ટરના Green સારથી મિત્રો,નવરત્ન ગૃપના તમામ વડીલ મિત્રોનો સહ્રદય આભાર અને ધન્યવાદ.
પ્રકૃતિના આ સેવા યજ્ઞમાં આહુતિ આપનાર અબાલવૃદ્ધ તમામ Green સારથીનો પ્રણામ સહ આભાર.
